Merry Christmas!! I am writing this on Christmas day for me and by the time it gets to you it might be Christmas day for you! I hope everyone is enjoying this most wonderful time of the year! Enjoy all the little moments! There is always so much happening, but take a moment to soak it all in! Take in all the smiles, laughs, music, joy, food, family, fun, and the spirit of Christmas! Live in the moment! Live with no regrets!  Fun Christmas Australian things! -Australians start celebrating Christmas the day after Halloween! -Christmas vibes are shorts and a t-shirt. -Rundle Mall is filled with Christmas trees and blow up Santa’s! Other than that there is not much decorations around the city. Rundle mall is just about it for decorations. Some houses have mini Christmas decorations, but nothing like America. -Christmas bbq’s are a big thing. -No turkey over here. They love fish instead! -No reindeer over here…just kangaroos to help Santa! -After Christmas there is a thing called Boxing...

Good day everyone! Hope the week has been great for everyone! It has been another crazy eventful week for me! Soooo much happened! Hope everyone is enjoying the Christmas weather and polluted air hehe. I am breathing in the nice ocean breeze everyday! But I am missing the snow a lot!  Fun Australian things!  -Now that it is getting hotter in Australia, people are biking more! However, it is so funny to watch because of the crazy birds everyone wears zip ties coming straight out of their helmets! It is so hilarious! The most bizarre thing! The zip ties ward the bird attacks away from the head haha. The news was broadcasting that someone had gotten their eye poked out by a bird…yikes! -Australian drivers are crazy! They are honkers and it is just insane! Any little gap between cars they will take! You have to be very assertive when driving here.  -Tim tam slams! So an Australian treat is Tim Tams! They are these thin chocolate bars with some chocolate toffee material inside...

Good day everyone! Another week is down and another week of adventure awaits us! So much happens each week! So crazy! My days are always so fulfilling because we are getting so much done! I love my mission so much! I am growing such a thirst and desire to feast on the words of Christ! I am learning, growing, changing, and becoming! It is crazy to see how the Lord can shape you into who HE wants when you humble yourself before him! Australian things!  -They love advertising Christmas bbqs. It just blows my mind that a bbq at Christmas is acceptable haha. Christmas here is just so wild!  -Instead of 911 it is 000 -There is a specific number to call if you get bitten by a spider! There are soooo many spiders here. Got a picture of a massive one on my garbage can this week! Fun times.  -There are sooo many ambulances! It is crazy! Literally, I see sooo many every day.
