Beast Week

哈喽啊!下午好! I hope everyone’s week was a good one! This week was super busy and crazy for me! There are no such things as “boring, slow, uneventful days” in the city of Adelaide… The nice thing about being in the city is that there is something crazy going on at all times! I don’t know what the weather is like back in Utah right now, but it is nothing like Adelaide.  Some may think Utah weather can be unpredictable, but that nowhere compares to the unpredictable weather of Adelaide.  For example, Tuesday it was a scorching 107 degrees and I felt like the air was burning. There was literally no one in the city because it was so hot! Then on Thursday it was a high of 65 and it was pouring rain all day long and so we were all wearing jackets haha. Then the next two days were around 60-70 degrees and it was the most beautiful weather in the world!  Fun Australian things: -Everything in Australia is trying to kill you…we saw a bullet ant this week! Lead Zone Leader Now

Good day everyone! Big changes coming for me! Or I guess they have already happened! My companion got called as the new AP! And so I have been called as the lead zone leader in the Nephi Zone. My new companion used to be the district leader and has been out on his mission for a long time. I will be in charge of training him on how to be a zone leader.   With this in mind my email won't be as long as usual because I have lots of things to do!  Hope everyone's week went well and everyone is enjoying their winter weather. I am so used to the summer over here that it blows my mind that it could be snowing on the other side of the world… Fun Australian things: -Ok when I ...

6 Months!

Good day everyone! Hope everyone had a great week! This week was so busy and long for me! I feel a little worn down, but I am happy because I know that the Lord will sustain me! We accomplished so much this week and are looking forward to next week with an eye single to the glory of God!  Australian things: -There is a Chinese saying for football and it translates kinda to olive because the football looks like an olive. Kinda funny. But wow, I love the Chinese language!  -Alright here is a super Australian thing….on every recyclable bottle there is a 10 cent symbol if the bottle can be collected and turned in to claim that 10 cent…soooo if you can imagine there are people who are obsessed with getting all the 10 cent bottles. So we walk down the mall and there are these homeless people or just crazy people who dive into these garbage cans with tongs or just their bare hands and grab all the 10 cent bottles people have thrown away. They have these massive bags or shopping carts...
