Welp another week finished! Crazy how time just flies by! It was a great week! Learned a lot, grew a lot, laughed a lot, and worked sooooo much!  Fun Australian things: -A lot of the roads are sooo small here. Even though it is usually 2 lanes, half of one lane is filled with cars that are parked on the side of the road. So that means you have to take turns using the one lane. And Australians always give this signature finger/hand wave as you drive past. And if you do it back it is considered not very courteous…. -The double roundabouts are just wild! Soooo many roundabouts! And all the speed limits are less than the US. So when I get back to America, and get to drive 25 MPH I will feel like I am flying haha.  -College over here is called uni. If you say college people will think that is still “high school”. Very strange… -I had some people ask if we celebrate St. Patrick's Day in Australia. Good day mates! I hope everyone has had a splendid week! This was a wild week for me!  So much fun to see what each new day brings!  Fun Australian things: -For some reason the bathroom and the toilet are separated…like there is a room for the shower, sink, and everything and then there is a separate room just for the toilet. Kinda annoying sometimes haha.  -Another thing about the bathroom is that the light switches are on the outside instead of the inside of the room. So if you close the door you can’t control the lights….I can only imagine how much fun the kids in Australia could have with turning off the lights while their family is in the shower haha. -Adelaide is famous for serial killers…(that was a fun fact I wasn't too happy to learn haha.) Good day mates! I hope everyone has had a splendid week! This week flew by for me! It was crazy how fast it went by! We accomplished a lot and it was a great week! It was supposed to be fall time in Adelaide, but the last couple days were in the 100’s of degrees…ughhh… Fun Australian things: This week it will be about the Australian school system haha. -They have a pretty terrible school system.  -School starts at 9am and ends at 2:30pm. -Classes are a little under an hour long. -4 classes a day.  -There are a couple 30 minute breaks between classes. -They would go play basketball between classes! -1 hour lunch! -Chill school….no assigned homework. You got to choose if you wanted to do homework or not.  -A whole grade would on a camping trip during the school year. -Theme parks would be the end of year celebration…. -The Australian said that he would gladly go back to high school in a heartbeat!
